Nivea Soft Moisturiser

Hey, bit of a review today for you (cause after all this is a beauty blog). So today I am going to talk to you about the Nivea soft moisturiser that I have been using for about a month now.

I love this moisturiser, before this I was using a clinque one (which I did really like) but with a pretty hefty price tag, I think I am in favour of this one. This moisturiser is suitable for your face, body and hands, so is perfect for popping in your bag or taking to the gym. It has jojoba oil and vitamin E in it so it is moistirising without clogging up your pores (I have combination skin by the way)

It has a light floral sent which I know some people won't like but I think it is really pleasent. Another plus point is that it sinks into your skin so fast but still feels very hydrating all day.

Is that enough plus points to make you buy it? Cause you really should.

Weekend Catch Up

Hi, a bit of a weekend catch up as I haven't done one in a while, so this is what I have been up to this weekend:

• watching the final episode of Hepburn, I have really been loving it at the moment
• also watching the final episode of Me and Mrs Jones
• the best curry on Friday night
• antique shopping on Saturday
• making the cutest Christmas decoration (I may do a DIY of these, what do you think?)
• knitting and stitching show on Saturday  (yay)
• trying to avoid going out in the cold
• revising, well mainly procrastinating
• cosy night in with trash TV on Sunday night

Winter

Hi, hope you are all well? Today I wanted to tell you all why it has been a bit quite on here, I've had exams and have them all next week so I'm trying my very hardest to fit writing in around them. Anyway I wanted to talk about how much I am loving autumn/winter, I mean how cosy does it feel when it's freezing outside and you get in side and you walk in to a wall of warmth? So here are 10 things I love about winter:

• my new 'real' fire, it's so warm it's crazy
• cuddling up with my baby boy (not a real baby, a cat) 
• drinking crazy amounts of tea
• winter walks in the wood 
• getting all wrapped up in big jumpers and wellies
• having candles light all the time
• dark mornings (I know most people hate them but I just love them)
• the run up to Christmas, I'm sooo excited
• all the pretty colours around this time
• Christmas parties approaching

40s glamour

  

Hey, so today I had the afternoon off and what's a girl suppose to do except play with makeup? I say play because that's basically what I did, I had no intention of doing a 40s glamour look but hey that's what it turned out to be. (Just a note to say that I am not in any way a professional and this is just what has worked for me to achieve this look.)

 

Products I used:

· my normal face base

· MUA pro-brow kit

· MUA undressed eye shadow palette (shade 11)

· GOSH waterproof eye shadow in love that beige

· MUA trio eye shadow in smoke screen

· lip balm

· Mac lipstick in new temptation

· Mac lip liner in brick

· mascara

1.      I applied my foundation, concealer, blusher, bronzer and highlighter like I would normally

2.      I used the GOSH eye shadow all over the lid

3.      I then went over that in MUA smoke screen (the white colour)

4.      For my brows I filled them in using the MUA kit

5.      I then used a wet liner brush and used shade 11 in the undressed palette and followed my eye line right into the corner until i reached the end of my eye. I then flicked it up and did this till I got the thickness and height I wanted.

 

6.      For the lips i used a lip balm then lined my lips with the Mac liner

         7.      Finally I filled my lips in with the lipstick

plus I added mascar (I nearly forgot)

I hope you like this look I had real fun creating it so if you would like me to try any other looks please tell me.

Nail of the day

Hi, I'm really sorry I have not been writing this week it has just been a little hectic that's all. Anyway I thought I would show you one of the nail polishes from Glamour this month, I picked up the navy (but I really want the gold glitter). Here I have put a glitter top coat over.

Bonfire night

Hi, I had a very cold but still amazing night last night at my local bonfire. The fireworks were so pretty I took lots of photos to show you so sorry this is a slightly photo heavy post.

OOTD

Hey, today I want to show you what I wore but not cause I looked nice or I specially liked the outfit cause the leggings I am wearing are my new favourite thing. Now these are not your normal leggings they are super think and high waisted. Here they are...

This is the thick waist band that make them so comfy

and the top that I am wearing is obviously from Dublin but my mum got it for me cause she was running the Dublin marathon on Monday, so congratulations to her.

Am I really sad for trying to find the perfect leggings?? (I don't care now I have mine)
